This Gibbes Museum of Art wedding was spectacular from beginning to end. Jackie & Nate, alongside their families, hosted a wonderful wedding weekend complete with a welcome party and rehearsal dinner to greet the out of town guests.

The day was rooted in family tradition and classic southern style. Jackie and Nate brought their Gibbes Museum of Art wedding to life with the help of planning team Ooh! Events. From getting ready at the famous Mills Hotel to photos alongside the battery, they wanted every part of Charleston to be implemented in their big day.

The design of the wedding was created with traditional weddings in mind with its use of white and green florals, a perfect sailcloth tent, and beautifully classic bride and groom attire. It was stunning from beginning to end and we are so grateful to have captured it.

The Gibbes Museum of Art is a gorgeous venue. It’s located in the heart of Charleston and located within walking distance of everything! When you get married here, there are a plethora places you can use for cocktail hour, photos, and a sailcloth tent in the back of the property. It provides a unique take on Charleston history and art and provides an experience for your guests.
