Rebecca and Sam had an intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family for their a few weeks ago. While COVID caused them to push the celebration portion to October, there was no shortage of love and special moments on their big day. Here’s a link to their engagement session!
These two had planned a large celebration at New Riff Distillery for their Cincinnati wedding. While they will still celebrate then in the fall, they wanted to keep their original date of June 13th, 2020 to actually tie the knot. Personally I think this is a great decision because it happens to be my birthday! I loved spending my 29th birthday with Rebecca, Sam, and their sweet friends and family.
They hosted their ceremony at the beautiful Immaculate Heart of Mary in Anderson. This is a beautifully adorned church with large stained glass windows and beautiful, tall organs. The actual ceremony itself had such a sweet sentiment. Father Tom shared words that each said about each other and one in particular stuck with me- Rebecca said that Sam is the brightest spot in her life.
That’s exactly how I would describe these two. They hold their relationship so closely to them- they’ve been together for ten years and have quite literally grown up with each other. But that deep love, respect, and goofy humor is still there between them. Their chemistry and comfort is palpable and we absolutely loved photographing them.
After the ceremony we headed to Alms Park, which is one of our favorite Cincinnati wedding photography portrait locations! From the amazing architecture, to the lush gardens, to the overlook, this location has so many different looks for one park. My personal favorite is the winding path that leads to a cluster of weeping willow trees- my absolute favorite!
Rebecca and Sam, thank you so much for choosing us to document your special day. We cannot wait for your fall celebration at New Riff Distillery!
