The wind was blowing through our hair. Water was splashing up on the sides of the catamaran. The captain dropped the sails. Red wine was being poured. Anyone else want to do a Santa Barbara sailboat engagement session?!
Daisha and Jonny are such an in love couple. Their chemistry is totally palpable! Jonny is a captain and we joked the entire time that he had “sea legs” because he was steady as can be holding Daisha in her heels as the boat rocked on the water. (I on the other hand was NOT as steady) 😉

As the warm sun set on the west coast off of Santa Barbara, California, these two embraced each other like they never wanted to let go. Their personalities shone through and we had so much fun with this couple’s portrait session! This was our first time in California together and it definitely didn’t disappoint. We have been looking forward to seeing those cotton candy skies and the blue waters. We’re so lucky that we got to photograph these two at their Santa Barbara Sailboat Engagement Session!
It’s true what they say about the sun being different in California. It’s glowy, warm, and soft. We cannot wait to go back.
