Lauren and Corey are one of our 2021 couples and we are SO glad they asked us to come to Cleveland for their Edgewater Park engagement session!

They found us through a referral from Elizabeth Anne Events and we are so lucky to be able to document their love. They’re tying the knot next year at the Steam Plant in Dayton, Ohio and we cannot wait!

Even though these two met in Dayton, most of their adult lives have been spent in Cleveland. When they asked if we were down to travel we said YES! No matter the place we love packing our bags and heading out to see new sights. We enjoy seeing new places, new architecture, and new landscapes.

We absolutely loved photographing Cleveland. Lake Erie and the city as a backdrop was breathtaking as we stood high up on a hill for their Edgewater park engagement session. After that we went along the water where they strolled hand-in-hand and dipped their toes in the water. We ended up by a willow tree with a rock jetty that leads out into the lake where these two danced, twirled, and laughed. It truly was a perfect day.

The weather was hot but perfect for shooting film. There was gorgeous light, sparkling water, and willow trees blowing in the wind. As usual, I shot on my film camera and Jordan snagged some amazing shots on the digital camera as well. I love the way film captures the light and the tones in the image. Even though it’s time-consuming and expensive, it’s so worth it to be able to absolutely love my images and be able to give my clients the best.
