Brooke and Alan are dear friends of ours and we are so lucky we were able to photograph their Cincinnati, Ohio maternity session! These two tied the knot last June and I was lucky enough to stand by her side as her matron of honor. Brooke has been a huge part of my life for FIVE years now and I couldn’t be luckier that teaching middle school brought us together.
Alan is such an amazing husband to Brooke. He treats her with the most respect and love that she deserves and I’m so glad that she has found happiness with him and his two little girls. Brooke is due in early May with a baby girl and we cannot wait to meet her! She already got all of Sawyer’s clothes she has grown out of so she’ll be one stylish little girl for sure!
For their spring maternity session, which we were lucky enough to photograph before things got out of hand with COVID, we found some gorgeous blooms in downtown Glendale. Glendale is the PERFECT portrait location- with all of the brick lined streets, gas lamps, pretty iron arches, historical homes, and of course the large mature trees. We live in Glendale so lucky for us, it was right down the street! It was fun to photograph a session in our town for the first time.
These are ALL taken on my film camera – fuji 400h pro film stock. I’m just getting started in my film journey and am so lucky to have best friends I can practice with. Hopefully this crazy pandemic ends soon so I can get out there and photograph some more beautiful sessions. I miss my clients and photographing weddings so much.
Here are our favorites from this Cincinnati, Ohio Maternity Session. Enjoy!
