I’m so excited to showcase this film maternity session. Caitlin is one of my best friends. We met each other over a year ago at the photography conference, Showit United. We became immediate friends and the rest is history!

Our families have since shared backyard cookouts, trips to the lake, and many memories. Her and her husband, Josh, are a few months away from welcoming their 4th baby- a sweet boy.

I knew for this session I wanted to stretch my creative muscles and create something that I haven’t created so far. I shoot almost all of my sessions on film these days but I knew I would need more light because of the gloomy winter.

For the first time I added flash with film in a studio and I’m obsessed with the results! As with trying anything new, I was nervous about the outcome, but I’m so happy with these! Of course thank you to my amazing film lab, The Find Lab.
